The website was designed and implemented by myself. All images on the site are taken by myself, using transparency (slides) film.
They are then digitized by a high quality slide scanner at 4000dpi.
Digital processing is limited to traditional darkroom techniques, such as colour and contrast control, burning, dodging, dust removal, and cropping. This allows for greater consistency and accuracy in the end print. Images which appear to have 'special effects' are usually the result of camera technique, not digital processing. An example is multiple exposure. If the effect was achieved digitally, a note is made in the photo information area.
Unless otherwise specified, each print is 12"x18", and is printed on 13"x19" Velvet Fine Art watercolour paper using an Epson 2200 archival quality printer. All prints are limited editions, usually 15 or 25 in number.
