Notes: I approached this decaying tree trunk with eagerness for a first glance it had a large amount of character. This area was about one foot off the ground near its base. All of the bark had come off, leaving the knots of the underlying wood. Within these knots, you can see distorted faces and strange creatures, much more accessible in the print than on the internet image.
